Helicopter Trip to Dog Sledding Camp on Mendenhall Glacier 
Image by c&rdunn We took a helicopter up to Mendenhall Glacier, where a group has been allowed to set up a dog sledding camp. To protect the glacier, they have to paint the structures white, they have to constantly move those structures, and pick up anything that's dark (and fly it back off the glacier). We had a great time meeting the dogs and going for a run. Even when we were stopped (actually, especially when we were stopped!), the dogs wanted to keep running!

Trevor - The Seaford Seal 
Image by SPIngram A grey seal which unexpectedly turned up on a Sussex beach to moult has become a local celebrity with hundreds of people coming to see him. He turned up at Seaford on Sunday after having been spotted earlier east of Eastbourne and then at Beachy Head, and has been lovingly named "Trevor" Interesting • Facebook • Website
